 Summer Holocaust Institute: Current Methods in Teaching\nthe Holocaust
  and Tolerance\n \nThe Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nas
 sau County will offer its annual Summer Holocaust Institute on June 28
 -June 30, 2011 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Each day of this course will 
 be divided into two sections. The morning will be spent discussing Hol
 ocaust History with the Center’s two historians, Beth Lilach, Senior
  Director of Education, and Dr. Sarah Cushman, Director of Youth Educa
 tion. After lunch, participants will work with current secondary teach
 ers who have implemented Holocaust and Tolerance curriculum in their c
 lassrooms for decades. Based on current historical perspectives and ut
 ilizing the most current teaching methods, this Institute is designed 
 to help teachers effectively bring the lessons of the Holocaust to the
 ir students and to promote tolerance in their classrooms throughout th
 e academic year.\n \nProfessional Development Credit: this is a 15-h
 our course. Inquire with your individual district to ensure you can ob
 tain credit for participation. \n \nCost: $200 (Lunch Included) –
