 ds you winding down and planning for a relaxing and sunny summer. I am
  writing to tell you about my SOCIAL SKILLS TRAINING program that I wi
 ll be running this summer for children ages 5-12.\n \nMy program S.P
 .E.A.K., Social Program Encouraging Amazing Kids, will begin this summ
 er for students who need assistance in social situations. The program 
 will be tailor made for each group/student and may include making frie
 ndships, appropriate social behavior, bully prevention and role play/t
 emper cool down exercises. There will be Learn and Play sessions where
  skills will be taught and practiced in a fun environment. I will also
  have themed sessions i.e. manners/pizza party and DS game night! Grou
 ps will be run by myself and Melissa Rauch, a special education teache
 r.\n \nAs a school social worker working with general and special edu
 cation children and families in Lindenhurst and a parent in Oceanside/
 Rockville Centre, I know how important social skills’ training is. P
 lease share this information with your families before school ends so 
 they may have the opportunity to join a group starting in July. Famili
