  \nHow Highly Effective Teachers Promote Intrinsic Motivation\"\nFeb. 
 7 and March 6, 4:00 - 6:30 PM\nThis workshop is offered in two parts, 
 Feb. 7th and March 6th.  Feel free to join us for either or both sess
 ions.  We'll be identifying what teachers can do to create the condit
 ions that inspire students to take charge of their own learning, choos
 e challenge, value effort and persist in the face of obstacles.  In t
 hese workshops, \n\nWe'll learn about self-determination theory and h
 ow to insure students experience autonomy, competence and relatedness 
 in the classroom.  \nWe'll hear real high school students explain wha
 t teaching behaviors helped or hindered their motivation and effort in
  school, and\nWe'll link each of these teaching behaviors to competenc
 ies in the Danielson \"Framework for Teaching.\"\n\nThese workshops ar
 e designed for all educators.  Our goal is to create an intentional p
 ractice to help all school adults and students to realize their poten
