DESCRIPTION:4-day, 30 hour Civic Education Summer Institute open to al
 l New York teachers and pre-service teachers K-12. Event is at Touro L
 aw Center, Central Islip, 8am - 4:30 pm daily.  Teachers will earn 2 
 or 3 in-service credits at the discretion of their employer.  A 3 gra
 duate credit option is also available through Stony Brook University, 
 School of Professional Development (tuition applies).  Seats are firs
 t come, first served.  Seats for in-service credit are open until the
  institute is full.  However, participants seeking graduate credit mu
