 rick Halligan, a Vermont middle school student who committed suicide i
 n 2003 after being a victim of both school and cyber bullying. Mr. Hal
 ligan’s message is relevant, necessary, and compelling. He has the a
 bility to capture the audience and communicate the critical importance
  of taking responsibility for one’s actions as well as seeking assis
 tance from qualified adults when situations become too difficult for s
 tudents to handle. His material is current, his statistics are accurat
 e, and his knowledge about teen utilization of the Internet and its da
 ngers is poignant. His presentation calls adults to action in order to
