 Do you understand the issues faced by LGBT students?  Are you aware t
 hat research indicates that schools that have GSA's are safer for all
 students?\n \nThe Nassau County Anti-Bias Consortium and the Nassau C
 ounty Middle Level Principals Association are sponsoring a forum to ra
 ise awareness and share information about these timely and critical is
 sues in our schools.  All educators are encouraged to attend.\n \nYo
 u will learn:\n \n\nAbout issues faced by LGBT and diverse students i
 n our schools\nHow to link LGBT to other forms of prejudice and oppres
 sion in schools\nActivities to do with your staff to build awareness a
 bout LGBT and diversity issues\nAbout the processes used by schools to
  successfully initiate GSA's\nWhere to find support and resources for 
 GSA's including curriculum connections\n\n \nPresenters/Facilitators:
