 \nThis workshop will teach you how to implement the Family and Communi
 ty Development and Engagement Reflection Tool.  This Tool is designed
  as a framework for organizations to assess how they integrate family 
 support and community development principles into their organization
 s culture, programs and practices. This workshop is tailored to admin
 istrators, directors and supervisors of schools and community organiza
 tions and parent leaders.  To maximize the effectiveness of this exp
 erience, organizations are encouraged to send teams of individuals, an
 d strongly encouraged to attend both sessions.\n \nStrong families ar
 e core to the development of healthy children, youth, schools and comm
 unities.  Clearly, there is a growing need to explore new and effecti
 ve practices to foster meaningful collaborations between families, sch
 ools, and communities that capitalize on the strengths and resources o
 f each. This workshop will focus on key elements of family engagement
  and concrete ways to build organizational cultures to effectively eng
